Obituary for Richard L. Setterberg

Richard L.  Setterberg
Richard L. Setterberg, 82, of Dawsonville, GA passed away Wednesday December 11, 2013 at his residence following a period of declining health.
Born May 15, 1931 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Chester and Elsie Setterberg, he had lived in Dawson County since 1994 having moved from Roswell, GA. Mr. Setterberg spent his entire working career in the automobile industry and retired as Regional Sales Manager for Mercedes Benz in 1989. He possessed a great love for the outdoors, especially fishing. Richard was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran and was a member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Kathleen Prew Setterberg, Dawsonville; children, Mike and Joanna Setterberg, Arlington, Washington, Alison and David Jett, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Zachary Setterberg, Kaitlyn Setterberg, Haley Jett, and Lindsay Jett.
A memorial mass will be held Monday December 16, 2013 at 11 o’clock at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. Fr. Brian Higgins will officiate. Entombment services will be held Tuesday December 17, 2013 at 11 o’clock at Georgia National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday December 15, 2013 from 5 until 7 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church Building Fund, 991 Kilough Church Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
