Obituary for William "Dean" Shupert

William “Dean” Shupert, 48, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday, June 13th, 2019 peacefully at home surrounded by love.

Dean was raised in Cherokee County, Georgia. At the early age of 13 he found the two great passions of his life, cars and racing which lead him to a career at Ford Motor Company as a Transmission Specialist for 30 plus years and meeting the love of his life Kim which lead him to 32 years of marriage and a beautiful family truly blessed by God's Precious Grace.

Dean was a loving husband and dedicated father that always put his family’s needs above his own. He was beyond gracious always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends and complete strangers. He enjoyed life by spending time with family and friends, riding his Harley and reading a good history book. His peaceful retreat was finding a quiet place in the woods. Dean was a simple man that loved God, Guns, and Country and that you should always stand up for what you believe in.

Survivors include his wife; Kim Shupert, mother; Sherry Shupert, his two daughters and their husbands; Kristin and Marc Sikorski, Brittany and Brett Bateman, 4 Grandchildren Cooper, Lexi, Chase and Brody, his siblings; Todd Shupert, Richard Shupert, and Sally Shupert.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 22nd, 2019 at 2pm at Bearden Funeral Home. The Family will receive visitation at the funeral home from 12-2pm.
