Obituary for Harry Charles Lamar Flowers

Harry Charles Lamar Flowers, 66, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2019 after a short illness. He was born to the late, O.D. and Dorothy Flowers. He was a member of New Life Church of God, Dawsonville, GA. Harry was a truck driver for over 50 years and he loved over the road trucking. He enjoyed working on cars and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Ray Flowers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diane Flowers of Dawsonville, GA; children, LaDonna and Russell Hall of Dawsonville, GA, Ashley and Chris Gilreath of Cumming, GA; brother, Reggie and Glenda Flowers of Lula, GA; sister, Gail and Donald Greenway of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Keith Hall of Cumming, GA, Summer Gilreath of Cumming, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends, Mike Owens and James Kanaday officiating. Interment will follow at Bethe1 Tabernacle Church of God, Gainesville, GA.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
