Can not believe it has been a year. We miss you!! Think of you so often and every time it brings a smile to our faces and a tug at our hearts! Forever our friend, forever in our heart!
How I miss you, dear friend! I wish I could talk to you directly, but this will have to do. We have had some splendid, crazy, humorous times these past years. I will so miss our sojourns to the thrift stores, especially that cake dome incident! David always enjoyed his chats with you about places you both had in common being GA boys. Of course there are the wonderful memories of your hilarious 60th birthday party in 110 and visits with Jim to NC. You have left an indelible mark in our hearts and all who knew and loved you, my dear Charles. Please come and visit. I will do the same and chat often. We loved you and miss you.
I knew Charles from John B. Gordon Elementary and East Atlanta High. I remember him as being a sweet and kind person. My condolences to all of his friends and loved ones.
Charles was a sweet friend from John B. Gordon Elem., Martha Brown United Methodist, and East Atlanta High. Very talented, musical, artistic, and brilliant. I enjoyed catching up with him at our high school reunions. He will be missed. Prayers of comfort for his partner. I'm glad I got to meet you.
Heartfelt condolences on the loss of your dear Charles. He was a wonderful person and cherished friend, he will be greatly missed by all who came to know and love him. Prayers and comfort to you during this difficult time.
Some great memories of Charles from our festive get togethers with Jim in Atlanta eating out or spending some great New Years Eves at the house on Hilburn Drive in East Atlanta. He had the biggest heart of anyone I've ever known. IWe remember fondly the great cook that he was especially serving the Serbian Egg Casserole and the omelet roll ups served at Brunch. Charles made a very big difference in mine and Jimmy's lives and he will forever be in our hearts.
I knew Charles briefly but long enough to see the joy in his soul and the love in his heart !! He and Jim shared a special kind of love that will never be forgotten by anyone who knew them ! It was an honor to have met Charles !
Charles - you meant the world to Jim.
You were always there for him, during both good and bad times.
I wish our paths could've crossed more often, but am really glad that they did.
May you rest in peace my friend.
Mark
