Oh what mischief we enjoyed as children! What one didn't think of the other surely did. Probably one of our greatest achievements was the ability to run like banshees from our parents. We added to the drama by "fanning out" in opposite directions making our capture even more difficult. This resulted in our wearing little harnesses on a leash when we were out in public and put quite a damper on our fun. Another fond memory is Easter 1956 when Charles Robert elected to participate in show and tell during Sunday School at Lakewood Methodist Church. I've attached a picture of that particular Easter to emphasize just how sweet and innocent we looked! Charles Robert's announcement was that his mother had locked herself in the bathroom and colored her hair!
